A Dynamic Acquisition and a Powerful New Relationship

I am pleased to announce that Impact Mailing and Fulfillment has recently signed a dynamic acquisition and forged a powerful new relationship that positions the company to address the changing industry landscape and the convergence of the printing, mailing and fulfillment industries.

Impact has acquired the Statement Processing Laser Operation and Lettershop from ZipSort, Inc. and entered into a strategic relationship with PSI, a leader in the presort / commingle industry.  PSI has sorting operations throughout the country and processes more than 50 million pieces of mail per day. To accommodate the growth in business, additional equipment and personnel, we’re in the process of adding 60,000 sq ft to our existing facility at 4600 Lyndale Ave N in Minneapolis.

Through the acquisition and agreement with PSI, we’re strengthening Impact’s core business which will allow customers to receive a broader range of creative-data-print-mail services along with order processing and Pick & Pack fulfillment services.  The increased scope of services will benefit our long-time customers and our new customers who have joined us through the acquisition. 

To better reflect our service portfolio, we’re shortening the company’s name to Impact. We believe that the company is ideally positioned to continue to offer our customers Proven Solutions™ for years to come. Our customers have always been our number one priority; that will not change.

Going forward, we’re confident that uniting the talents of these two strong organizations will not only expand the breadth of the services provided, but also enhance the value we bring to our customers.

Our plan is to complete the addition and consolidate the two operations by the end of the year. While much work lies ahead, we anticipate a smooth transition and look forward to integrating the two operations.
